A product design assignment in Graphic Design II class was to create merchandise that would be sold at the gift shop at Laumer Sculpture Park.

I decided to challange myself with a material beyond paper and used sheet PVC to create 2 kids’ mask designs, inspired by Tom Huck’s sculptures - Buzzer and Dottie are two bug-like “springers” displayed on the playground at the park. Each mask was designed in illustrator and then cut on sheet PVC with the CNC router, spray-painted and assembled into masks that can be worn by kids 5 - 15 years of age.
